SUPER
SUMMER SPECTACULAR 5 IS OVER!
And
what a night it was. New Tag Team Champs (see pics to left);
General Manager J.T. Allen getting superkicked by newcomer and
Empire Wrestling Federation Champ, Brandon Gatson; Bolo winning
the Rags to Riches Beat the Clock Gauntlet and winning the right
to challenge the champ in the match of his choosing. And he
chose a Springfield Strap Match which will also find "fired"
referee JT Allen strapped to a ringpost as well. All this happens
once again at the Regional Sports Center on Saturday July 25th
at 7PM!
Newcomer
Brandon Gatson made his presence known aside from taking care
of General Manager Allen. In a hard fought match with Erik Baeden,
it took another look by WCWC owner and referee for that match,
Jeff "The Ref" Manning to reverse his original decision
and give Gatson the win as some shenanigans by Baeden and Allen
led to a Baeden pin but ultimately a Gatson victory.
And
what happened to the match between fan favorite Mike Modest
and newcomer Ryan Taylor that was advertised? Modest apparently
got "hurt" 2 days before the scheduled match-up and
Taylor conveniently was out of town, and there are rumors that
the injury to Modest had something to do with Taylor or his
"friends." We can assure all our fans that we will
get to the bottom of this right away. Taylor is under contract
to the WCWC and he will fulfill his commitments and be forced
to have that match-up with Modest.
SPECIAL
SHOW ON FRIDAY JULY 17TH
In
conjunction with Clear Channel Radio in Portland including Jammin
107.5, Z100, 105.9 The Brew, K103 and K-Hits we will be putting
on a show at the Car Toys Tent Sale in Jantzen Beach. Details
as to who will be there and exact times of matches will be available
this coming weekend so keep it here for all the latest.

WCWC
tickets for ringside and adult general admission can be reserved
in two ways: You can call the WCWC office at 503-851-9980 (if
no one answers please leave a message and you will get a return
call promptly) or you can send us an email: tickets@westcoastwrestlingconnection.com
Just let us know how many tickets you would like and what type
you want and that's all there is to it. We can accept payments
in advance by credit card or you can still take your discount
and pay at the door (24 hour cancellation notice is requested
if you are unable to attend).

note that beginning with our September show and continuing thru
the end of the year, our Springfield shows will be held on Sunday
afternoons so there will be no conflicts with Ducks or Beavers
football games. Note the 5PM bell time for Sundays.

Advanced
Ticket prices for all shows are $13 for ringside seats &
$10 general admission. Kids from 6-12 or anyone with a current
student ID are $8 anytime and those age 60 and over plus military
personnel (current or retired) are $7 at anytime. Those under
6 are always FREE! Day of Show prices for ringside and regular
general admission are $2 more per ticket. Special group pricing
is also available.
